In Werner Reiterer’s intervention, the Csuk cold storage facility in Jennersdorf is not defined as a space for exhibiting a work of art, but rather becomes a sculpture in its own right. As an artistic installation that can no longer be entered, the work is, as it were, thrust into people’s real living space like a Trojan horse. And because Werner Reiterer’s works generally seek to create both physical and mental friction with people, they once again play a decisive and momentous role in this instance.
