Artistic works subvert expectations, challenge social norms and express resistance in the form of protest, provocation, subversion, deliberate over-fulfilment or refusal. Dialogfeld Mensch is not an interactive exhibition, but powerfully illustrates artists’ engagement with the socially conditioned body in the age of media omnipresence.

GerberHaus

The last remaining community centre in Fehring built in this style was purchased by the municipality in 2002 for the purpose of establishing a cultural and communication centre and adapted and redesigned with the support of the Province of Styria from the revitalisation fund. The Kultur GerberHaus association has set itself the task of revitalising this building with high-quality events on visual arts, literature and music.
