In the loop. remembering futures, repeating pasts
Anna Anvidalfarei, Paulina Aumayr, Ani Gurashvili, Jeremias Rumpl, CONTE POTUTO
curated by Julia Aldrian
In the loop wanders between the intertwined loops of history - where repetition and memory meet. The exhibition traces the rhythms of forgetting and remembering, as well as the oppressive feeling of being stuck in time. Based on Mark Fisher's concept of hauntology, it reflects on lost futures - those we believed in but which never materialized. Here, loops do not appear as traps, but as invitations: to come together, to reflect, to speak freely and to listen attentively.
