With the exhibition “In the Void”, the Pavelhaus is once again turning the four-country region into a transborderland and connecting the Panovci 9 farm in Prekmurje, which has been converted into a cultural venue, with the Fluviale in the former border houses (Radgona/Radkersburg) as part of the Midsummer Festival.

The exhibition of international artists deals with the possibilities of social transformation of emptiness, vacancy, historically burdened and so-called non-places.

A cross-border performance with an audience will connect the exhibition openings at Europaplatz and Pavelhaus (18:30), starting from Gornja Radgona (16:00). This will be followed by a closing concert (20.00) in the garden of the Pavelhaus.

Pavelhaus

The Pavelhaus, in Slovenian Pavlova hiša, is a museum, meeting place and cultural center for the Slovenian ethnic group and is run by the Article VII Cultural Association Styria. Annually, several exhibitions of contemporary art from Slovenia, Austria and the whole world are shown. In addition, there are bilingual book presentations, concerts and discussions in the Pavelhaus. Since 2001 it has been a partner of the international festival Steirischer Herbst.
