Along the main roads, images appear as if out of nowhere in the landscape, taking you away as a matter of course. On the path between seeing and recognizing, they take you into the vastness of space and time. A cross-border project in the HochSommer region in cooperation with the Landesgalerie Burgenland & the solo exhibition Eva Schlegel, Reflexionen.

Kunsthalle Burgenland

Kunsthalle Burgenland has been travelling the country since 2021. Starting with a solo exhibition on poster stands by Elfie Semotan, the Kunsthalle took to the road in 2022 and realised interventions with three artists in and around the Emigration Museum in Güssing. In 2023, it was the old oil mill in Neumarkt an der Raab where artists dedicated themselves to the theme of harvesting and home production.
